Wee Hur Holdings
Wee Hur Holdings was selected to be among Forbes Asia’s 200 Best under a Billion for 2013 and 2015. We made it into this prestigious list, among just a few other companies from Singapore. These 200 companies were selected from among thousands from Asia Pacific, and we were one of the few companies from Singapore to have made it into this prestigious list.
Besides, we were selected to be among Top 100 Singapore Brands since 2012 by Brand Finance.
Wee Hur Development
Our residential developments, Parc Centros and Parc Botannia, were both awarded the Green Mark Gold Plus Award. We were also awarded the BCA Green Mark Award (Gold) by the Building and Construction Authority for our industrial development, Mega@Woodlands.
The BCA Green Mark Scheme was launched in January 2005 as an initiative to drive Singapore’s construction industry towards more environment-friendly buildings. It is intended to promote sustainability in the built environment and raise environmental awareness among developers, designers and builders when they start project conceptualisation and design, as well as during construction.
Urban Residences, a residential development project developed and constructed by Wee Hur, was awarded the Quality Mark “Star” rating for both the Developer and Builder categories by the Building and Construction Authority of Singapore. The “Star” rating is the highest rating under the Quality Mark Tiered Rating system. The Tiered Rating System for Quality Mark recognizes developers and builders for achieving quality excellence and distinguishes developers and builders who have achieved quality excellence beyond the high minimum standard specified in the QM scheme.
Wee Hur Construction
Our construction arm had also garnered several prestigious awards and accolades:
- We received five awards for Construction Excellence and four awards for Certificate of Merit from the Building and Construction Authority/Construction Industry and Development Board. These awards are testimony to our high standard or workmanship, project management and technical input in completed projects.
- We were awarded the BCA Green & Gracious Builder Award– Star in the BCA Awards 2017. This award is given to progressive builders who have taken significant steps to address environmental and public concerns in construction works and helped develop a more positive image of the construction industry.
- We received three Architectural Heritage Awards conferred by Urban Redevelopment Authority in recognition of our outstanding performance in carrying out restoration and conservations projects.
- We were ranked amongst the Enterprise 50 list which represents the cream of Singapore entrepreneurship for 5 consecutive years, 2000 to 2004. We were bestowed the honour of Enterprise 50 Five Years Award for winning the Enterprise 50 for five times in a row.
